If you’re looking for a way to get up, get moving, and take an active break from this year’s Thanksgiving feasting, we’ve got everything you need to prepare for a Turkey Trot this holiday season. 🦃

👟 Tampa Bay Times Turkey Trot | Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 4 | 5K, 7 a.m. and 1-mile, 8:30 a.m. | 5K, $30 and 1-mile, $25 | This 5K and 1-mile race starts adjacent to Clearwater High School, participants are encouraged to attend the kick-off party from 5–7 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 3 (2450 Drew St.)
👟 Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble | Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 4 | 5K and 8K, 7 a.m. and 1-mile, 7:15 a.m. | 8K, $40, 5K, $35 and 1-mile, $20 | This race (401 Channelside Dr.) offers a variety of race lengths and is stroller and dog friendly — plus, the top overall three male and female runners will be awarded a pair of ASICS sneakers.
👟 Gobbler 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run | Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 4 | Gobbler 5K, 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 1-Mile Fun Run, 8:30 and 9 a.m. | Gobbler 5K, $40 and 1-Mile Fun Run, $35 | Sign up for this race (Jay B. Starkey Park, 10050 Wilderness Park Blvd.) and enjoy a pet and family-friendly race with live music and vendors — all proceeds go to support First Christian Academy.
👟 The Coffee Pot Turkey Trot | Thanksgiving Day, Thurs., Nov. 4 | 5K, 7:45 and 9:45 a.m. | 5K, $40 | Register for this race and enjoy a scenic run around St. Pete’s Coffee Pot Bayou — all proceeds go to support North Shore Elementary.
