Plans are in the works for a economic development center near USF. The federal government gave the University Area Community Development Corp. a $14.9 million grant for the center. Once completed, residents will be able to access workforce development, health care services, and small business incubation at the center. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

What’s the latest on the Rays stadium deal? The Rays say they are still making a decision on whether to proceed with the deal. The team has until Monday, March 31 to meet its obligations to score the public funding for the $1.3 billion project. (Tampa Bay Times)
