Scream, if you dare. Howl-O-Scream is back at Busch Gardens for the spooky season. The ominous annual event kicked off yesterday, featuring haunted houses, gore, scare zones, and a sinister show. Tickets start at $50.
Closing
King State is closing its doors. The Tampa Heights spot has been roasting coffee, brewing beer, serving food, and mixing cocktails from its renovated gas station for the past five years, but will close next month amid financial strain. The business still plans to sell its beer + coffee.
Development
Plans for St. Pete’s tallest building are changing. The new team behind the Waldorf Astoria Residences St. Petersburg has redesigned the structure and posted slick new renderings. The building will boast 49 stories and stretch 540 ft into the Florida sky. (St. Pete Catalyst)
Eat
Soon enough, you might be able to grab your burrito bowl right in the heart of Water Street Tampa. Fast-casual chain Chipotle could move into the former former Crisp & Green location in the bustling neighborhood. Exact plans are not yet confirmed. (Tampa Tomorrow)
