Five rooftop bars in Tampa are hosting events as part of a “Raising the Roof for Hurricane Idalia Relief” fundraiser. During select hours on Thursday, Sept. 7, EDGE Rooftop Cocktail Lounge, Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar, Vantage Rooftop Bar, Skybox Rooftop Bar, and Beacon Social Drinkery will donate a percentage of sales to the American Red Cross Hurricane Idalia Fund. Travel
Tampa International Airport is now fully open again, and flights at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport resumed yesterday. (Bay News 9)
Community
St. Petersburg’s Shore Acres neighborhood is now facing rebuilding efforts after Idalia. Dozens of neighborhood residents were rescued from rising waters due to historic flooding on Wednesday. Those interested in helping the community can donate via Shore Acres Civic Association’s website. (St. Pete Catalyst)
Coming Soon
Pete’s Bagels is opening a second St. Petersburg location at the historic Harbordale Standard Oil Station (2439 Fourth St. S.). The coffee and bagel shop’s new drive-thru and walk-up location is expected to open in January. (Tampa Bay Times)
Opening
Caribbean and Central American-inspired restaurant Sal Rosa is coming to Tampa. The new restaurant taking over Bizou Brasserie inside Le Meridien Hotel doesn’t have an opening date quite yet, but the renderings can hold us over for now. (That’s So Tampa)

There’s a new place in town for Taco Tuesday. T’s and Tacos opened last month at Jannus Live (226 1st Ave. N.) as a walk-up taqueria and bar. The new spot replaced Cap’s Steamer Bar with its Tex-Mex food and drinks. (I Love the Burg)

You may have missed it, but Korean deli Ybor Seoul recently opened at 1531 E. 7th Ave. The new spot features menu items like Korean corn dogs, pork belly, spicy chicken skewers, kimchi noodle bowls, and sparkling lychee teas. (That’s So Tampa)
