Tampa Bay restaurants actually open on Mondays

We’ve all been there. You’re too tired + lacking inspiration to chef it up on a Monday night. So you decide you’ll go out, but it seems like everything is closed.

We’re still searching for answers on why much of Tampa Bay’s food scene shuts down on Monday nights (let us know). But in the meantime, we’ve rounded up a few options that are actually open.

  • Pia’s Trattoria, 3054 Beach Blvd S., Gulfport, 4-9 p.m.
    Everyone’s favorite Italian spot serves up cozy vibes + the best Chicken Piccata.
  • Ulele, 1810 N. Highland Ave., Tampa, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
    This Riverside spot is a Tampa staple for a reason, with its picturesque patio, fresh seafood, and in-house brewed beer.

    Why wait for taco Tuesday? We prefer mezcal Mondays. Try the trio dip and the carnitas.
  • Oak & Ola, 1910 N. Ola Ave., Tampa, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., 5–1 p.m.
    This Sparkman Wharf hotspot is glam enough for any date night + has excellent pork chops, pan-seared Scottish Salmon, and tons of drool-worthy apps.
  • Hawkers Asian Street Food, 1235 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, 11a.m.–10 p.m.
    This crowd-favorite Central Ave. spot offers casual outdoor seating, sake, ramen, and other delectable picks.
  • Casita Tacqueria, 2663 Central Ave. + 2701 4th St. N. + 2991 66th St. N., 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
    With three locations across St. Pete, Casita Tacqueria is the perfect laid-back Mexican spot.
