As we sit down to our laptops for the last time in 2022, it’s nice to reflect back on the year behind us and be thankful for all the great stories we were able to write.

From celebrating Tampa Bay’s not-so-illicit speakeasies and hidden drinking establishments to delving back into Oxford Exchange’s roots, we had fun sharing this wonderful city with you. Thank you for being a reader of TBAYtoday

We will be taking a break next week, catching our breath, and spending time with friends and family. Your next regularly scheduled newsletter will hit your inbox on Jan. 3, 2023. We hope you’re able to step away as well. And if you find yourself with some downtime, here are a few ways to get out there and explore TBAY:
Have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year.

THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Brad.

Editor’s pick: As 2022 comes to a close, and I’ve wrapped up my third month writing for TBAYtoday — I want to say thank you, personally, from the bottom of my MacBook Pro to the top. Right now, I’m writing from my grandma’s living room, awaiting an Uber to take me to the airport. Looking forward to seeing you in 2023.

PS. Don’t forget to bundle up for this once-in-a-lifetime freezing cold holiday (which I won’t be able to participate in because I’m going to Aruba... Poor me 🥳).
