Are you ready to put the pedal to the metal, TBAY?

Win big with Tampa’s new e-bike voucher program. The initiative aims to reduce the number of gas-powered vehicles on the city’s roads and give residents a cost-effective way to get around Tampa.

The program offers discounts ranging from $500 to $2,000 on new e-bikes to qualifying residents.

Keep in mind it’s all based on a lottery system that will only randomly select 180 riders, according to the release. If Lady Luck is on your side, you can cash in your voucher at one of the city’s approved spoke shops.

The application window for residents opens in late March.

Side note: You must live within the City of Tampa boundaries, be 18 or older, and pledge to replace trips in your car or truck with trips on your shiny new electric two-wheeler.
