I don’t know about you, but this is my fave kind of food news. An influx of new dessert places to celebrate something-sweet o’clock are opening soon in Tampa Bay.

Here are a few highlights.

  • You can finally get your paws on some decadent dough from The Salty Donut next weekend after months of tantalizing us with mouth-watering Insta pics while we wait for the Tampa locations to open. The donut shop is hosting a pop-up at Hyde Park Village Sat., Nov. 19, during the Holiday Happening and Tree Lighting, That’s So Tampa first reported.
  • A donut cake? Oh my. Sarasota donut mecca Five-O-Donuts is bringing 24 delicious donut options to 4th Street later this year. The shop will take over the space vacated by Uptown Snoballs .
  • Elevenses is bringing its macaroons and other treats to its first brick-and-mortar location at 1001 E Columbus Dr. in V.M. Ybor. Owners told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay they hope to open in early 2023.
