SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival returns

TheSHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival has returned for its eighth year and will run until Sun., Oct. 23. The festival is an outdoor arts exhibition that highlights the work of renowned local, national, and international mural artists like James Bullough (Germany), Marina Capdevila (Spain), Reginald O’Neal (Miami), and Ashley Cantero (Tampa).

The 12-day festival includes a lineup of events, including:

Opening Reception: “The Female Gaze” on Fri., Oct. 14, from 7-10 p.m. at MIZE Gallery (689 Dr. MLK Jr St. N., St. Petersburg)
Bright Spot Community Project “Wild Ride” from Fri., Oct. 14-Tues., Oct. 18, at St. PetersBark (3001 Central Ave., St. Petersburg)
SHINE Grand Finale on Sat., Oct. 22, from 8-11 p.m. at Morean Workshop Space (2025 3rd Ave. S., St. Petersburg)
