Yesterday, we asked “Do you think the Cuban sandwich really originated in Tampa?”

Cuban sandich

The Columbia Restaurant’s Cuban sandwich is legendary, made with La Segunda bread, smoked ham, yellow mustard, and more.

  • 55% said of course
  • 33% think the delicacy traveled up from Miami
  • 12% aren’t really sure
Do you agree?

The Wrap

I know the Cuban sandwich roots convo is really polarizing. As is our roundup of best spots.

One reader suggested we add West Tampa Sandwich Shop to the lineup. But we’d love to share more of your faves.
