  • The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is halting its plans — for now — to construct pickleball courts and golf courses at nine state parks. The state will go “back to the drawing board” on the proposal, which included changes to two Tampa Bay area parks. (Tampa Bay Times)

  • This one’s for all of our sneakerheads. Foot Locker is moving its headquarters to the Sunshine City next year. The company already has an office in Carillon Office Park + has yet to announce which departments will call the Burg home. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

  • It’s the Super Bowl of cuisine. The Bucs are hosting a Tampa Bay Chef Series this season. Every home game, the stadium will offer the krewe one dish from chefs behind top-notch local eats like Meat Market, Boulon Brasserie, and Psomi. Tickets start at $58. (That’s So Tampa)

    Our local food scene is as vibrant as ever, so it’s no surprise there is a slew of local chefs serving up fresh, vegetarian bites across town. From vegetarian pizza to scrumptious vegan tacos, here are 30+ restaurants serving up meat-free fare in TBAY.
