  • Part of St. Petersburg’s Tyrone Square Mall just sold for $37.8 million. The shopping center (located at 2300 Tyrone Blvd. N.) includes a Dick’s Sporting Goods, PetSmart, Five Below, and an incoming Aldi. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

  • Road repairs are on the way. Last week, Hillsborough County Commission voted to spend $8 million of this year’s budget on repairing the area’s roads and sidewalks + decided not to spend $10 million previously planned for affordable housing. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

  • Calling all St. Pete foodies. Rococo is entering a new era. David Blackmon — who guided Atlanta’s Bacchanalian to a James Beard Award — will take the helm of the modern steakhouse. (I Love the Burg)

  • The Sunshine City has 244 miles of shoreline, meaning there’s almost always a free spot in the sand. Plant your seat at one of our secret beaches.
  • Take in a Rays game at Tropicana Field.
  • Runners, paddleboarders, walkers, rollerbladers, cyclists, and other outdoorsy folk can cruise along the St. Pete Pier.
  • Reel in a catch at the world’s longest fishing pier, found along the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
  • Book tickets to world class museums and galleries like The Dalí, the Imagine Museum, the Morean Arts Center, or Fairgrounds St. Pete.
