Welcome to the Warehouse Arts District. St. Pete Distillery’s Spirit Garden opens today. The menu features handcrafted Italian dishes from CALA Italian Kitchen + a range of signature cocktails made with the distillery’s spirits. Register to attend the grand opening. (I Love the Burg)

Travel
Spirit Airlines is adding four new nonstop flights from TPA to its roster. The low-cost airline will launch daily flights to Charlotte, NC; Norfolk, VA; Richmond, VA; and Charleston, SC starting this fall. (That’s So Tampa)
Drink
Up, an upscale lounge and entertainment venue, opens on the rooftop of Westshore’s Union New American (1111 N. Westshore Blvd., Annex B) this weekend. The bougie spot will feature live music, dancing, and bottle service all with incredible nightime Tampa views.
Development
Water Street Tampa just received the gold-level WELL Community Certification. The wellness certification takes into account factors like walkability, access to fresh foods and water, and circadian rhythm-friendly lighting. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)
Civic
The City of Tampa is accepting applications for the Mayor’s Youth Corps. Students in grades 9-11 will meet with Mayor Castor, connect with peers, work on community service projects, participate in state and national conferences, and run social media platforms. Apply online through Monday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m.

Lettuce celebrate. Sprouts Farmers Market is opening its doors in Uptown Tampa (2150 E. Fowler Ave.) next Friday, Sept. 15 — but the store is celebrating all weekend. Here’s a taste of the grand opening party:
Friday, Sept. 15
Stop by the pop-up party in front of the store to taste seasonal produce, play games, watch artists carve large produce, get your face painted, and try to guess the weight of oversized produce.
The first 400 customers will all go home with a free long stem rose from Falcon Farms Flora.
Enjoy a free hotdog lunch from Dietz and Watson with a bag of Kettle brand potato chips starting at 11 a.m.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., author Danny Seo will give out free, signed copies of his cookbook, “Naturally, Delicious Dinners.”
