Lettuce celebrate. Sprouts Farmers Market is opening its doors in Uptown Tampa (2150 E. Fowler Ave.) next Friday, Sept. 15 — but the store is celebrating all weekend.

Here’s a taste of the grand opening party:

Friday, Sept. 15

  • Stop by the pop-up party in front of the store to taste seasonal produce, play games, watch artists carve large produce, get your face painted, and try to guess the weight of oversized produce.
  • The first 400 customers will all go home with a free long stem rose from Falcon Farms Flora.
  • Enjoy a free hotdog lunch from Dietz and Watson with a bag of Kettle brand potato chips starting at 11 a.m.
  • Starting at 5:30 p.m., author Danny Seo will give out free, signed copies of his cookbook, “Naturally, Delicious Dinners.”

Check out of the rest of the spread on the grocer’s website.
