30 upcoming concerts in Tampa Bay

The Jonas Brothers. Aerosmith. Willie Nelson. Wu-Tang Clan. Because we have so many exciting concerts coming to the area, we decided to round up a few big ones happening through October — and by “a few,” we mean 30 — and share them with you.

Note: These music genres are purposefully very broad (we couldn’t make a “heavy metal/industrial rock” category just for Rob Zombie, for instance, so don’t skip over a category just because you don’t think you like that genre). Take note that prices are also subject to change.

News Notes
Coming Soon
  • A new rooftop bar and lounge is coming to Tampa this fall. Beacon Rooftop Bar will be located atop JW Marriott Tampa Water Street (510 Water St.) and feature panoramic views of the skyline and water, plus craft cocktails and a food menu. Once completed, Beacon will be Tampa’s tallest public rooftop bar and dining space. (That’s So Tampa)
Development
  • Pinellas County Commissioners unanimously approved a zoning request and development agreement for a new hotel near the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Renderings show that the hotel would be a Residence Inn by Marriott. An airport spokesperson says construction may not start for another two years. (St. Pete Catalyst)
Biz
  • The grand opening for St. Petersburg Distillery’s Spirit Garden will take place on Friday, Sept. 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. The new outdoor space will feature signature cocktails, music, games, and food from restaurant partner Cala Italian Kitchen.
Drink
  • The Blend Coffee & Cocktails has plans for a new St. Pete location at 3001 16th St. N. The new coffee spot marks the business’s sixth location since opening in 2019, with hopes to open by the end of the year. (St. Pete Rising)
Plan Ahead
  • 3 Daughters Brewing’s Oktoberfest Beer Festival is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The inaugural event will feature German polka bands, traditional Oktoberfest games, a car show, and plenty of food + beer. Get general admission tickets — at 50% off, currently — through I Love the Burg. (I Love the Burg)
Pet
  • We may be an incredibly dog-friendly city, but that doesn’t come without a price — literally. Forbes Adviser recently ranked St. Pete as the nation’s 12th most expensive city to own a dog, while Tampa ranked 19th. The ranking was based on average expenses for things like vet costs, boarding fees, and pet insurance. (St. Pete Catalyst)
Finance
  • One card, all the perks. A $200 welcome bonus, unlimited cash back, and 0% interest into 2024 all with no annual fee almost sounds too good to be true — but this card has it all.*

We asked, and you decided your fate. Most would rather...
  • Cheer on the Bucs. (Lucky for you, we’ve got a season preview guide coming up next month. Stay tuned.)
  • Spend an afternoon at Pass-A-Grille.
  • Take your coffee date to Oxford Exchange.
  • Shop fresh produce at the Saturday Morning Market.
  • This vote was split, so it seems that folks can agree: The Dog Bar 🤝 Pups Pub.
  • Spend hours at The St. Petersburg Museum of History.
  • Drumroll please... the majority of you are St. Pete proud (but only by one vote — it was close).
Note: We love and support all of our local businesses, and we would rather remind everyone this is just a friendly game.

I just saw this photo on Instagram and couldn’t stop drooling, but the caption is even better — if you show Tampa-based food truck Shiso Crispy your Google review by this Saturday, you can get a BOGO bang bang chicken (there’s a vegan option, too). I loooove a good BOGO deal.
