Welcome to the neighborhood.

The New Tampa Performing Arts Center (8550 Hunters Village Rd.) opens this Saturday, March 25 for its inaugural show — a 90-minute musical adventure performed by a 14-member cast + band, according to a release.

Hillsborough County paid $7.3 million to construct the 350-seat performance venue that includes an orchestra pit, stage, four studios, box office, catering kitchen, and more.

Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are almost gone (email infoNTPAC@Hillsboroughcounty.org or call 813-829-2760 for more info), but make sure to check the soon-to-come schedule for upcoming shows like “Beauty and the Beast,” “Grease,” and “Shrek the Musical.”

And...if you need one more interesting party idea... the space is available for event rental.
