Finally, a reason to boogie. Tampa Pig Jig was rescheduled due to our infamous back-to-back hurricanes, but the annual concert + barbecue fest takes over Julian B. Lane Park on Sunday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Now, let’s dig into the basics:
Ticket options
- General admission runs $130.
- New this year, you can buy tickets to the Whitney Logistics Premium Lounge. The $500 price tag comes with access to all-you-can-eat and drink, a full-service bar, private bathrooms, and a reserved viewing area right in front of the stage.
Artists
Now for the main course, here’s the lineup + show times for this year’s festival:
- Shane Profitt | 11:45 a.m.
- Greylan James | 1:15 p.m.
- Chase Rice | 2:45 p.m.
- The Revivalists | 4:30 p.m.
- Dierks Bentley | 6:20 p.m.
Eats
One of the best parts of the annual event is sampling the pig in Pig Jig — i.e. the amateur barbecue competition. The awards will be handed out at 5:50 p.m.
Come hungry, there will be plenty of vendors like Aussie Grill, Fuzzy’s, and Graze serving up barbecue staples.
Tips
The festival is allowing folks who aren’t able to make the rescheduled date to transfer their ticket to someone else — as the tickets are nonrefundable.
Parking downtown is always a beast, and it will likely be even more difficult on festival day. We recommending having someone drop you off or using a ride share app.
If you do need to drive, there’s a variety of city garages available. We recommend the Poe Garage or the Rivergate Tower Garage — both of which are just a short walk from the park.
Make sure to stick around after the show(s) — fireworks will close out the night at 8 p.m.
Remember: The show goes on rain or shine, so wear clothes you’re okay with getting wet, and leave unnecessary electronics at home or in waterproof sandwich bags.
