We hope Fido’s ready for a swim.

We’re honestly having trouble keeping up with all the openings, closings, and local biz news this week.

So we thought we’d break down TBAY’s latest + greatest new spots for the both of us.

  • Mutts and Martinis, St. Pete’s latest Fido-friendly bar is hosting a grand opening “pawty” Friday, May 26. The 2900 Central Avenue spot boasts a doggy splash pad and a luxe sports bar (for humans).
  • Sushi + Hyde Park? Say less. One of the Village’s incoming tenants, RO Tampa, will open at 1500 W. Swann Ave. Follow the spot on Instagram for more updates.
  • St. Pete Mastry’s Brewing is makin’ moves. The brand is moving its headquarters to Pinellas Park. The new 1.49-acre site will be built out with seating , a stage for live performances, and space for other retail + artists, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
  • Watch out, Tiger. Topgolf St. Pete (220 Carillon Parkway N.) opens its doors this June, according to I Love the Burg. The wildly popular golf party spot is hiring for bartenders, cooks, and other roles.

We’re also looking for new restaurant news. Spill the beans .

Bailey is based in St. Petersburg, FL, but hails from Ocala: the “horse capitol of the world.” Previously, she reported on education for WUSF Public Media, seniors for The Tampa Bay Times, and local government and communities for The Miami Herald and The Palm Beach Post. Happiest with sand on her sneakers, she loves visiting new parks and neighborhoods.
