- The second Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille location opens on Friday . The new Jungle Terrace spot features covered seating right on the picturesque Boca Ciega Bay.
- Tampa’s first drive-thru location, Chipotlane is now open , according to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. But there’s a catch, the location (8301 N. Dale Mabry Hwy.) only takes online or mobile orders.
- Calling all Blind Tiger devotees. The speakeasy-themed coffee and tea spot recently opened a new location in the Tampa City Center building. Next year, the shop is opening up in International Plaza + St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.
- Grand Central’s Old Key West Bar & Grill is on the market . The bar will stay open until the sale.
- There’s still time for one more pint. But St. Pete’s Avid Brewing plans to close its doors before the end of the year. Celebrate the bar’s closing at its NYE Bash .
