ZooTampa is showing off its new Florida Waters exhibit this week. The expansion + the new Florida Wilds area — which are part of an $125 million transformation — includes a jellies exhibit, mangrove walk-through tunnel, underwater manatee viewing, and natural freshwater spring aquariums. Turns out the new Rays stadium roof might be a little pricier than expected. By how much? A Skansa report said $300 million. The team’s cost analysis for the Tampa project found that the grid roof is “significantly heavier, more complex, and more costly.” How would it fare during hurricanes? (Tampa Bay Times)

One of the Burg’s oldest restaurants, The Chattaway, is shutting its doors this summer after 90+ years of burgers, live music, and chillin’ beside bloom-filled bathtub planters.
