Florida is the No. 1 state to start a business in the US, according to a new report from WalletHub. That’s certainly true for Tampa Bay, where our small business scene is full of gems, including these three we’re loving at the moment:

Their business supports car dealership service departments, but the driving force behind ADG is a focus on long-term relationships — something they share with their banking partner.
“Through our relationship with Bank of Central Florida, ADG gets what we need to not only grow our business, but to fulfill our commitment to clients and their families,” said HR Manager Kim Bridges.
The University of Tampa just shared plans to build a brand-new five-story science center. One day, students will take courses on allied health, environmental science, and more in a 153,000-sqft building along the Hillsborough River. Construction starts later this spring. Outdoors
Maybe we could have used some snow. Pinellas is expected to roll out phase two watering restrictions due to an especially dry winter. What are they, again? Residents will likely need to cut back to lawn watering to once a week for properties of less than 1 acre. (WUSF News)
