We have key intel for homeowners wrapping up or awaiting hurricane repairs after last year’s back-to-back storms.
Tampa is readying to dole out $2 million to residents through its Homeowner Hurricane Assistance Program. The aid is geared toward residents who haven’t been able to fix their homes up yet, or made more than the income thresholds for the Homeowner Disaster Assistance Program, according to the city.
Each household can get up to $30,000 — after meeting these qualifications:
You must be homeowners within Tampa city limits
You can earn up to 140% of the Area Median Income + 10% flexibility — which is about $160,000 for a family of four
You must not have received aid from Tampa’s Homeowners Disaster Assistance Program earlier this year
Across the Bay, St. Pete is hosting webinars on the Sunrise St. Pete Disaster Recovery Program tomorrow, Nov. 5 at 12 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
