Announced
Aston Martin and Clearwater’s Valor Capital Real Estate Development are partnering on new “ultra-luxury” Florida properties. We know what you’re thinking, “isn’t that a car brand?” Yes, this is the automaker’s foray into a new arena, and a Clearwater development is part of the plans. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)
Development
Speaking of Clearwater developers, Prometheus Partners just bought two more industrial properties along Salt Creek. We’re not quite sure what they’re planning for the land yet. But Prometheus has spent a sum of $59 million on land in the Old Southeast neighborhood. (St. Pete Rising)
Open
A new Publix just opened in Tampa’s West River community. The massive store is located at the intersection of North Boulevard and West Main Street — which is super convenient for those last minute candy runs pre-Riverwalk Trick or Treat. (That’s So Tampa)
Coming Soon
The Common Thread, the Burg’s new fiber arts cafe, opens its doors on Sunday, Nov. 9. The yarn-cutting ceremony is set for 10 a.m., but stick around for coffee from Look Alive, Folked Up tunes, tarot readings with a special yarn tarot deck, and cursed caricatures by TBAY’s Liam Nef. (I Love the Burg)

The Wrap
The Wrap
30.1. That’s the average age of newlyweds in the Sunshine State, according to new data from the US Census Bureau. If you’re planning to tie the knot in TBAY, here’s our gift to you: a list of the prettiest places to say “I do” around town.
I’m going to keep my personal fave under wraps (sorry), but one of my top five picks is Oystercatchers. The Old Tampa Bay views framed by seagrapes — and the seafood-heavy menu — just really can’t be beat.
