We’ve rounded up brewsy celebrations across Hillsborough + Pinellas complete with German treats (hello, pretzels), stein hostings, keg stackings, and a Mr. & Mrs Oktoberfest competition. Best of all: The Gulf Coast’s October weather is sooo much better than Germany’s.

The Cross Bay Ferry is coming back — and it’s going to be cheaper for both counties to run. Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority recently bought the vessels to run the service and Tampa Bay Sea Taxi, Inc. committed to running the ferries for $276.50 per hour.
