You don’t slice these famed bagels, they’re the tearing kind. The “not famous, but known” chain Pop-Up Bagels is opening in WestShore Plaza next Friday, Sept. 5. Stop by for plain, poppy, salt, and sesame bagels, tubs of schmear, and the fishy works.

The Wrap

I remain deeply enthralled with Gabrielle Calise’s first-person account of trying the Sirens of the Deep camp — i.e. the Weeki Wachee mermaid camp. The involved two-day course teaches aspiring sirens the mechanics and art of performing the park’s signature underwater dances.

Read her fin-forward tale featuring legedary mermaids, rainbow tails, and so much Old Florida goodness. I’m bookmarking for my TBAY bucket list.
