It’s kinda like the Black Friday of olde, but different. When the sun rises at 6:43 a.m. tomorrow morning, shoppers will roam Beach Drive, Central Avenue, and throughout downtown St. Pete hunting for deals at the Sunrise Sale.
Wear your pajamas for extra discounts or small gifts, and get your morning steps in — or hop on the SunRunner — to check out the 40+ participating spots (all are marked with yellow flags).
There’s plenty of Burg boutiques on the list like Ashe Couture and Brutique, but you can also find deals at spots like Seymour’s Bagel Shop, Old Northeast Jewelers, and J.Con Salon. Let us know what you get.

I’m sure those of us who aren’t tired of the Rays stadium/sale saga are eating up all of the updates and analysis on the impending sale to the Patrick Zalupski-led group. I really appreciated this zoomed-out look at Sternberg’s run with the Rays.
But, as per usual, there’s more news. Major League Baseball says if the Rays make the playoffs, they can play their home games at Steinbrenner Field too. Knock on wood.
