Lately, I’ve been loving Friday night movies at Green Light Cinema/The Tampa Theatre. There’s nothing cozier than watching a flick with a Diet Coke in hand while it thunderstorms outside, amiright? And this summer’s lineup is stacked: “The Phoenician Scheme,” “Friendship,” “Materialists.”
Bonus: You can actually rent out Green Light for private showings — an absolutely A1 date idea.

Traveling via plane is fun — jet-setting over beautiful blue waters or rolling hills, taking in cloud formations, and landing in a completely different location in a matter of hours is unlike anything else.
The whole navigating the airport part? Less exciting, and sometimes pretty stressful. To help make your time at Tampa International as smooth as possible, we’ve created a guide that covers everything from gates and parking to the airport’s 90+ nonstop flights.
Parking, shuttles, and rideshare
Not everyone has a bestie who will drop everything to pick them up from their 3 a.m. landing. Both the long term and short term parking garages offers under an hour of free parking, 60-80 minutes for $4, and each additional 20 minutes for $2. Beyond that, the price per day is as listed:
Short term parking garage | $28/day
Long term parking garage | $22/day
Economy garage + lot| $18/day
Both the long term and short term garages are within walking distance of TSA and your gate. The economy lot is conveniently located next to the Sky Train which will quickly ferry you to your gate.
