Tampa International Airport leaders just unveiled the upgraded Airside E Security Screening Checkpoint. The project added 20,000 sqft to the Airside and new screening technology aimed to improve passenger experience — just in time for the spring break rush.
Eat
The Sunshine City’s newest restaurant marries Italian and Peruvian cuisine — just like the couple that own it. Bistro 3951 just opened in the Foodie Labs space alongside the Pinellas Trail. The menu includes delights like a porchetta Peruviano sandwich and a stuffed avocado and tomato salad. (I Love the Burg)

Bring on the gelato flowers. Amorino Gelato is opening its first Florida creamery in the Sunshine City. The French chain serves its 27 flavors of gelato in the shape of a flower. Plus, you can even add a macaron to the center. The shop opens in the EDGE District this summer. (St. Pete Rising)

Sing us a song, you’re the piano man. The City of Tampa placed seven painted pianos throughout downtown Tampa neighborhoods in honor of National Music Month. Stop by to tickle the ivories of one of the pianos — which are decorated by local artists.

$1 million. That’s how much the Glazer family is donating to Tampa Bay area businesses affected by Hurricane Milton. The family, which owns the Buccaneers, just selected its 95 recipients.
