Holiday

Happy Thanksgiving. However you celebrate, we hope you enjoy a day of rest, reflection, and community. Pinellas and Hillsborough County offices will be closed today and tomorrow, Nov. 29, for the holiday.

Community

Visit St. Pete-Clearwater recently launched Still Shining Deals, a website featuring discounts on hotels, spas, cruises, and attractions as the area bounces back after hurricane season. The site includes deals for locals — like 20% off certain hotels for FL residents — and tourists. (I Love The Burg)

Real Estate

A Baltimore-based real estate investment group recently purchased North Tampa apartment complex Henley Tampa Palms for $82 million. The group plans to renovate the 315-unit complex to move it from Class B to Class A. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)
