  • Plans to redevelop the 74-acre site including the Museum of Science and Industry are back in motion. Commissioners selected Tampa-based Alliant Partners Development to head the project, which aims to create an “innovative mixed-use urban development.” (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

  • No running by the pool — but you can run to the pool for Swim a Lap Day. Find your nearest pool or aquatic center in Tampa or St. Pete and bust out that butterfly stroke.

  • After purchasing the Temple Terrace hotel in Telecom Park for ~$9.5 million, local real estate investor Ben Mallah is planning another $2.5 million in renovations. The proposed additions target travelers to USF and Moffitt Cancer Center. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)
