8 Tampa Bay area spots to book Valentine’s Day reservations

Pull that G-cal out, TBAY — it’s time to book some reservations. Whether you’re in the mood for love or just a sumptuous feast, we’re dishing some of our area’s delicious Valentine’s foodie offerings:

Settle in for a decadent meal or a special “First Date” cocktail at the hopping Cigar City gastropub. Order the filet, potato gratin, broccolini, and truffle butter for $59 or the salmon with pea puree, colossal crab, potato confit, and lemon pepper vinaigrette for $45.
Bring your love to the Ybor City spot for the top-notch Sicilian menu or its special V-Day menu including Vongole Al Forno or Risotto Di Gamberi Aragosta.
Sign up for a culinary adventure ($125 per person) with a five-course tasting menu featuring “An Homage to Butter.” You can also add on corresponding wine pairings for $60.
Enjoy a four-course meal ($120 per person) and views of the custom flamingo mural over the bar. Plus, you can add on treats like a flower arrangement or bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.
Head to downtown St. Pete for heirloom tomato tartar, lobster butternut squash risotto, tableside Chateaubriand for two, and other specials — paired with people watching of course.
The upscale French eatery is serving a “From Paris With Love” themed meal sure to transport you to the City of Love. Highlights include beef Wellington, pan-seared jumbo shrimp and andouille, and honey-ginger panna cotta.
