  • BayCare Health System just announced plans to build a new St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. The new hospital is expected to be completed by 2030 + will reside on the same campus (located on W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa). The facility will also feature more pediatric specialty medical services. (Tampa Bay Times)

  • Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open a new House of Sport concept at International Plaza. The former Life Time Fitness location will feature retail goods alongside rock climbing, golf simulation bays and multisport cage experiences. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

  • SHINE Mural Festival kicks off next week. The annual event opens with a kickoff party next Friday, Oct. 13 through Sat., Oct. 13-14 at 1934 2nd Ave. S., St. Pete.
