Each year, my husband and I plan a “Fall Day” — one day full of fall activities like pumpkin picking, leaf-peeping, etc. The idea is that we take time to celebrate fall separately from Halloween (my husband hates how much the two are conflated). Now for the confession: I’m ready for Halloween now, and the news about Scream-A-Geddon... let’s just say it isn’t helping.
