For richer or pour over, Tampa Bay’s coffee shops are what keep us going in the morning. Tampa ranks among the top coffee cities in America thanks to factors like cafes per capita and the price of beans.
Both the Big Guava and the Burg have no shortage of masterful baristas, aromatic roasts, and foamy lattes. But if you’re having trouble deciding on a spot, gather some brews clues with our guide to some of the best coffee shops in Tampa Bay.
Pro tip: If you need to refine your order, review the different kinds of coffee before stepping up to the counter.

Speaking of Tampa Bay brews.
Elevenses, Ybor City’s newest bakery, is celebrating its new extended hours with a drop of “Gilmore Girls"-themed coffees + treats. Because Tampa Bay may not be Stars Hollow, but it’s our little corner of the world.
This week’s menu features three specialty coffee delights: the Team Christopher, a fruity pebbles latte; the Team Luke, a drip coffee with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg; and of course, the Team Max, an iced mocha chocolate caramel swirl-a-chino.
And it wouldn’t be a “Gilmore Girls” experience without a slew of options devoted to Rory’s men as well. Elevenses is known for its macarons and the shop even baked custom ones up for Jess, Logan, and Dean. Just pick your leading man.
Or, opt out of choosing a side entirely and snack on a “Mallomar” or “breakfast at Luke’s” macaron.
The bakery is now open Wednesday-Friday from 12-6 p.m. and most Saturdays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Is anyone else a massive “Gilmore Girls” fan? #TeamJess. Are there any structures or parts of town that remind you of Stars Hollow or another popular TV show? Let us know and we may just share in the newsletter.
