Fact
  • Did you know certain Tampa Bay elevators skip the 13th floor? It’s out of superstition, of course. For example, the Tampa Edition (500 Channelside Dr.) bypasses the 13th floor, and the elevator heads straight to floor 14. (Tampa Bay Times)
Shop
  • Curbside pick-up or delivery — both save time, but which is better? See the difference (and put a dinner order in while you’re at it).*
Finance
  • Refinance rates are skyrocketing. But home equity rates remain relatively low — which means that now is a great time to borrow against your home. Calculate your payment.*

Hey, TBAY.

When we saw this print from 904 Paper Co., we couldn’t help but think, what are the colors of Tampa Bay? When you think of TBAY, what are the images, landmarks, and attractions that come to mind? We want to know.

Here are our five picks:

St. Pete Sunset

This video of St. Pete beach drenched in a sea of deep orange keeps us up at night.

The Bay

This list wouldn’t be complete without the color of our world-famous waters.

Phoebe

Remember when Tampa International Airport installed that giant pink flamingo and named it Phoebe? We do.

The Serengeti Flyer

Busch Gardens’ all-new screamin’ swing ride carries riders through the sky at 68 miles per hour.

Lighting

We have a handful of iconic teams here in TBAY — but perhaps none more iconic than our 2020 and 2021 Stanley Cup Winners.

PS: it’s also National Crayola Crayon Day — so get out your fav colors and try to match them with our palette.
