Gasparilla Music Festival has dropped the mic on the artists performing Saturday, April 29 + Sunday, April 30 — and it’s music to our ears.
The two-day festival is at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa. Next year, the event will move to Julian B. Lane Park, according to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.

Tickets
One-day tickets run for $50, and two-day general admission tickets will cost you $80.
For those who want to step up the festival-going experience, there is a VIP offering this year. One-day VIP tickets go for $125 + two-day VIP tickets go for $200. Both include a special entrance into the festival, access to shaded tents at two stages, an exclusive bar, air conditioning, attended restrooms, and of course, front-of-stage viewing at the main stage.
Please note this event is rain or shine. So bring a poncho for that classic Florida sun shower.

The annual TASTE at the Straz is back on the Tampa Riverwalk tomorrow, April 1. The Boozy Pig, 3 Daughters, and other local spots will pour drinks while local eateries like Ulele, Himes Breakfast House, and more will serve up some mouth-salivating samples. Downtown Tampa’s Fly Bar & Restaurant officially closed its doors at 442 West Kennedy Blvd. If you’re looking for similar vibes and cocktails, Hotel Bar (200 N. Tampa St.) is operated by the same owner.
