It’s haunting season TBAY, and we’re pulling out all the tricks and treats for you this fall. There’s no shortage of local events to embrace the spirit of Halloween and carve into your schedule.   • New kid on the block. Local development firm, Kolter Urban, released updated design plans for a 55-story building (located in between North Tampa Street and East Twiggs Street).   • Starting tomorrow you can grab Rays tickets for $9. The baseball club’s Push for the Postseason initiative is an effort to pack the Trop for the last 10 home games of the season. There are $9 tickets available for all games Sept. 16-25, and you can score 40 percent off parking + discounted ballpark treats. 🍿
Open
  • Calling all donut fanatics. Mochinut, a dessert cafe, opens its latest location in Pinellas Park on Saturday. The spot will offer its signature mochi donuts (think Ube, Nutella, mango), boba, Korean corn dogs, and more.   • The reviews are in. Flaming Mountain Chinese Grill & Skewer Bar, a new Tampa restaurant, earns a rave review from Tampa Bay Times’ food critic Helen Freund. You don’t have to make the trek to NYC, Chicago, or even Orlando to see Hamilton anymore. The wildly popular musical is coming to Tampa Bay’s Straz Center this winter.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit musical tells the story of America through hip-hop, rap, jazz, and Broadway music — with a diverse cast.

Tickets go on sale today at noon. Book online or call 813.229.827. Buyers are limited to eight tickets — which range from $49 to $169, with premium seats available for $229.

The show runs from Dec. 28 — Jan. 22, 2023. Plus, there will be a $10 ticket lottery for all performances (details to come).
