Water Street’s new Mediterranean eatery Predalina is the perfect spot to celebrate another year around the sun.

The below list of new businesses has been updated as of Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Some people make to-do lists — we make to-dine lists. Many hot new Tampa + St. Pete restaurants have opened over the past several months, from Midtown Tampa’s buzzy new eatery Sunda New Asian to Wagyu steak paradise, Frankie’s Italian Chophouse.

To satisfy those who are really hungry for fresh dining options, we’ve got the delicious details on newly-opened TBAY restaurants + several that are coming soon, too. Grab your forks as we dig right in.

Predalina, 1001 E. Cumberland Ave., Tampa | Mediterranean | Reservations: Yes
The seafood-focused restaurant comes from the same team behind brunch powerhouse Oxford Exchange + sells its chic housewares on site.

Sunda New Asian, 3648 Midtown Dr., Tampa | Modern Asian | Reservations: Yes
This Midtown Tampa spot serves South Asian-inspired dishes like tom yum grouper + a lobster wagyu sushi roll.

Pepper’s Island, 1701 E. 4th Ave., Tampa | Trinidadian | Reservations: No
Stop by this spot on weekends during its soft opening for piping hot curry chicken and rice, aloo pie, mango chutney, and live music.

Lolita’s Wine Market, 420 22nd St. S. St. Pete | Tapas + charcuterie | Reservations: Yes
Enjoy a romantic meal in the historic Seaboard Train station or a glass of wine and charcuterie on the outdoor patio’s butterfly garden.

Lona Tampa, 505 Water St., Tampa | Mexican | Reservations: Yes
Nestled on the ground floor of the JW Marriott, this lively spot features a menu crafted by renowned chefs Richard Sandoval and Pablo Salas.

Located in the reimagined Sapphire Lounge space, The Dan brings the 1920s vibes plus yummy fare like Creole roasted half chicken, steak frites, and handcrafted cocktails.

SiX, 510 Water St., Tampa | American | Reservations: Yes
The modern bistro serves everything from ahi tuna crudo to a chicken pimento BLT, and boasts incredible rooftop views.

Frankie’s Italian Chophouse, 8901 4th St. N., St. Pete | American | Reservations: Yes
Chef Erik Vigil and restaurateur Frank Schittino crafted a menu packed with Italian cuisine and hearty cuts of meat, like their signature American Wagyu steak.

This neighborhood spot is perfect for post-work wind Water street mule or some kung pao brussel sprouts.

The Vinoy’s new poolside restaurant brings the heat with tuna tostadas, watermelon jicama ensalada, and passionfruit margaritas.

The Pearl, 823 Water St. Suite C-100, Tampa | Gastropub | Reservations: Yes
The aesthetics alone make it worth a visit, but you can’t stop by The Pearl without throwing back fresh oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, and parmesan baked clams.
