Sandwiches

West Tampa Sandwich Shop and Restaurant, Tampa
Indulge in a symphony of flavors with a cup of your fave soup and a small Cuban sandwich, pork sandwich, or ham and cheese sammie— all for under $11.

Bayside Sandwich Shop, Tampa
Treat yourself to the ultimate lunchtime delight by ordering the Deli Sandwich Combo — a half deli sandwich paired with an 8-ounce soup or house salad, all for $5.99. Pro tip: we wholeheartedly recommend sinking your teeth into the Turkey Rueben.

Lonni’s, St. Petersburg
This Central Avenue staple sells all kinds of sandwiches sure to improve a Monday, and the Grilled Cheese comes in at under $10 — which is sure to improve your day. We’d recommend spending a tad more and going for the Bar-B-Cuban or the Chicken Caesar Wrap.

Pizza

Santoro’s, Tampa
Indulge in one plain slice and one specialty slice, plus a refreshing fountain drink, all for a wallet-friendly $7.

Angelo’s, St. Petersburg
This might be St. Pete’s most unbeatable offer. Get two slices of cheese ‘za for $5.50.

Noodles

Saigon Deli, Tampa
Longtime locals know this spot. Check it out: Pork Broth Soup with Pork N Seafood and Egg Noodles will run you $14. Make sure you come back for the rare beef pho, meatball pho, and tofu pho with beef broth.

Lan Zhou Lamen Noodle House, Tampa
Immerse yourself in the flavors of Lanzhou, China, with the noodle house’s Chili Oi with Noodles, priced at $8.95. The soup dumplings are good, too

Burgers

Thee Burger Spot, Tampa
The bulk of this burger joint’s menu is under 10 bucks. We recommend Thee Bacon Double Cheese One or (on Fridays and Saturdays) Thee Glazed One, a bacon burger with glazed donuts instead of buns. It’s worth noting this place is a repeat Best in the Bay winner.

Dead Bob’s Bar and Restaurant, Multiple locations
Meet your maker with the massive Classic Chicken sammie — order it grilled, blackened, or fried. Plus, it comes with beans and rice for $9.97.

Daly’s Flame Broiled Burgers, Seminole
A single burger decked out with cheese, mayo, Daly’s Sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle will run ya just $7.99. We recommend you spend a dollar more and opt for the Mushroom Swiss Burger for $8.99. But it’s your decision.

Fast and casual

Greenlane, Multiple locations
“Thank you, Gronk,” we all say in unison. The football star-owned spot serves up wraps, salads, and sides aplenty all from the drive-thru. We recommend the Golden Greek wrap.

Naked Farmer, Multiple locations
Think Cava, but local. With locations on both sides of the Bay, Naked Farmer is always there for your lunchtime needs with a la carte mains and sides like rosemary roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese, cucumber ranch salad, street cart corn, and other seasonal goodness.

Fresh Kitchen, Multiple locations
It’s a TBAY staple for locals and tourists alike. This ultra fresh (we had to) spot offers build-your-own bowls for just over $10. The Four Bowl comes in at $11.25 and includes two bases, one protein, one veggie, and one sauce.

We know, we know — we couldn’t possibly include them all. Did we miss your favorite lunch special? Shoot us a note, and we’ll add to our list to keep this guide updated regularly.
