Take advantage of Florida’s Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday .
- What is it? This holiday exempts certain items such as flashlights, consumable household items, pet supplies batteries, generators, detectors, fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors from sales tax.
- The first holiday lasts till Friday, June 9 — with the second running from Saturday, August 26 to Friday September 8.
