Winter Village returns to Downtown Tampa

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the holiday season.

Children are at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon. There is fake snow falling and holiday lights are twinkling in the background.

The most wonderful time of the year.

The Tampa Bay area is getting into the festive spirit. The Tampa Downtown Partnership’s Winter Village returns on Friday, Nov. 17 and runs through New Year’s Day.

Here’s what you can expect to get up to:

☃️ Enjoy new theme days like Sensory Skate Mondays, Shop Small Saturdays, and Street Curling Wednesdays.
☃️ Skate on a 5,000-sqft ice rink — tickets are $17 for 90 minutes + must be bought in advance.
☃️ Skate Night Tuesdays feature events like neon night on Dec. 5, ugly sweater night on Dec. 12, and Lightning night on Dec. 19.
☃️ Browse wares from a range of small businesses, and explore wintry food + drink options.
☃️ Snap a pic with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus on three Fridays: Dec. 1, 8, and 15.
☃️ Catch a screening of “Elf” at the Holiday Movie Night on Saturday, Dec. 16.
