Add these Tampa Bay holiday bars to your list

From Santa-themed shots to gargantuan ornament displays, we’ve got you covered.

“It’s beginning to look a lot like cocktails.”

Make that Homegoods-sign-eque mantra a reality this holiday season with a festive night at one of the Tampa Bay area holiday-themed cocktail bars.

Joy Bar

This one’s for “The Holdovers” fans. The self-proclaimed “ultimate Christmas-themed dive bar” is open all year long, but we recommend making adding it to the seasonal rotation for the Santa’s Lap and Christmas Morning shots and a round of pool.

Glamper

You might’ve missed this brand-new bar while walking out of your last show at Jannus Live. Hunger Thirst Group bar’s operates out of a jazzed up camper van, and it’s decked out for the holiday season as XMAS Bar.

Miracle at Bar Mezzo

It’s a classic we’re not quittin’. Every year the Central Avenue bar is transformed with tons of light, ornaments, boughs of holly, and lots o’ cheer. Prepare for a Christmopolitan or two, clip-on koalas, and Santa visits. Pro Tip: There’s also a “Miracle” branded pop up at Strandhill Public for those Cigar City nights out.

Barterhouse Ybor

Head over to the The Blitz Inn — which earns major creativity points with reindeer enthusiasts — for a Cindy Lou or Holiday Egg Nog plus yummy deviled crab dumplings and burrata. Make sure to snag a reservation so you don’t miss your chance to dine under the floating presents and lights.

Willa’s

While they’re not exactly holiday-themed, we also recommend checking out Willa’s + the nextdoor Willa’s Provisions for a cocktail or coffee with view of the spot’s incredible massive, colorful ornament displays – as if Willa’s couldn’t get any more dreamy.

Cassis

There’s nothing more romantic than dining along Beach Drive in December. Take it from us. Take in the lights + fantastic decorations along the strip while indulging in Brussels sprouts, lobster ravoli, and lots of dessert.
