We roamed TBAY looking for creative holiday displays.

There may not be snow on the ground...or in the air....or on the forecast for the rest of the year. But dare we say, Tampa Bay makes it pretty freakin’ festive this time of year.

Water Street Tampa, the Downtown St. Pete Waterfront, and dozens of community hubs are decked out with holiday cheer. But so are our neighbors. Here’s a few of our holiday decor spottings this season. Please send us your faves too.

Old Northeast

The waterfront neighborhood does it up big this time of year with its annual Candlelight Tour of Homes. Every year, hundreds of TBAY residents load up on old-school trolleys to take in the historic neighborhood’s homes while decked out with lights. Missed the event? Take in the magic, here.

Hyde Park

New to the lineup this year was the Hyde Park Gardens & Grounds Tour. We loved the lit paper stars, festive red bows, and subtle holiday decor these neighbors are serving.

These stars were displayed in a backyard pergola.

Culbreath Isles

One surefire to get both you + your neighbors in the spirit is with a Tampa Bay inspired display. One home in this South Tampa neighborhood put out a Bolts Santa, perfect for a little regular season spirit.

Even Santa is a Bolts fan.

Central Oak Park

St. Pete’s third-largest neighborhood has plenty of jaunty and well-lit displays. But we loved this very Florida and inventive melting snowman friend.

This December has been a little hotter than we remember.

Seminole Heights

One way to make holiday decorations a little more personal is to involve or honor your furry friends. This clever display features two mounted dachshunds flanking a wreath.
