Hey, TBAY — Bailey here. You know I’d never miss the chance to check out an apartment complex with layouts named after turtles (or with a library). Enter Ridley at Waterset, a swanky new community living hub located just outside Tampa.

I recently stopped by for a tour with Vinnie. Here’s an inside look at Ridley at Waterset + how you can Try This.

Imagine relaxing out on a Sunday — or after work — by the scenic pool.

What we tried:

Let’s start with the important stuff. Residents can enjoy nitro cold brew from King State (some of the best beans in Tampa, in my opinion) or local Kombucha poured straight from the clubhouse’s tap on “Resident Fridays.”

I loved the foosball table on the second floor of the coastal chic clubhouse. It gave huge entertaining vibes.

There’s ample coziness to be found in the neighborhood — esp. in the zen garden with rock formations that invoke Stonehenge. ⛲️

I decided to enjoy my lunch break on Ridley’s patio. I camped out on a lounge chair in front of the massive pool + enjoyed the added warmth of the fire bowls. Hello, lunchtime tanning routine.

What not to miss:

Ridley really feels like a homey community — and whether you’re in a studio or three-bedroom, it’ll feel high-end with designer finishes like bathroom built-ins + sleek appliances. Plus the screened-in porches and balconies are perfect for enjoying that Florida fall.

Luxe amenities include:

  • State-of-the-art-clubhouse
  • Communal space for residents with luxe leather booths
  • Always-open coffee and tea bar
  • Library
  • Balcony
  • Conference room
  • Relaxing space (complete with velvet couches)
  • State-of-the-art gym
  • Massive pool with grilling stations

Looking to bike to work or into the city? There’s an on-site spoke shed with bike racks aplenty, plus a repair area so you have ample space to work on your beloved ride.

What we’re still talking about:

The insanely beautiful coworking spaces, library + leather booths with built in plugs. Swoon.

And the location can’t be beat — Situated minutes from the warm waters of the Gulf and just a few miles from the bustle and life of downtown Tampa, Ridley offers the best of both worlds.

Marble top desk, chair, and computer in a nook at the Ridley at Waterset clubhouse.

The clubhouse has desks for getting some quiet work pumped out, a conference room for glam business meetings, and booths perfect for hunkering down to work.
