Earlier this week, we brought you a few tips on embracing spring cleaning and the season. But now that you’ve done the work, it’s time to enjoy the best part of spring: the outdoor festivals, fairs, and maybe a little bougainvillea peeping.

We put together a few ideas for getting outside the house:

  • Ready to decorate that porch? Cactus Moon is hosting a succulent wreath workshop this Thursday, March 23 at Armature Works — so you can welcome spring and summer with a festively-decorated door.
  • PhilFest, a three-day Filipino food festival, takes over Tampa at thePhilippine Cultural Complex (14301 Nine Eagles Dr.) Friday, March 31-Sunday, April 2, with food vendors, parades, performances, and dancing, according to That’s So Tampa.
  • Old Northeast is hosting its first-ever Art In the Garden Tour Saturday, April 15. from 1 to4 p.m. Mosey on down the historic neighborhood’s brick streets on a self-guided tour, checking out work from 13 artists, live harp and guitar performances, and more.
