There’s no dill-emma worse than gearing up to play a game, but not knowing where to play it. That’s why we’re sharing 12 spots in the Tampa Bay area where you can play pickleball, a sport that combines the elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong that’s suitable for all ages + skill levels.

Ybor City gained its very own pickleball club last year. Tampa Pickleball Crew is the city’s first indoor pickleball facility at 28,000 sqft. The facility at 1701 E. 2nd Ave. features seven courts and hosts scrambles, camps, lessons, and also offers court rentals.

The Burg is also set to score its own pickleball club this year. The incoming St. Pete Athletic will boast eight indoor pickleball courts, six covered pickleball courts, Padel and table tennis, and dining and drink options.

On the second Tuesday of each month, head to Get Fit St. Pete’s free Pickleball 101 classes at Bartlett Park. Pre-registration is required.
