Tampa Bay might not have a stake in this weekend’s NCAA March Madness action, but we are home to all of the women’s final four festivities.

And the action kicks off today. We’re sharing what’s going on — beyond the games:

Women’s Final Four Tourney Town presented by Capital One

Head to the Tampa Convention Center starting today for a slew of appearances, games, giveaways, historical and Women’s Final Four team displays, photo ops, basketball contests, local eats, and to shop the gear.

Entry into town is free, but parking will likely be difficult. We recommend booking your spot in advance.

Beyond the Baseline

Yes, this panel goes beyond the game. Stop in for panels like “Team Tampa Bay’s Front Office, “Mentorship vs. Sponsorship,” “ESPN’s Full Court Press,” and “From College Courts to Paralympic Podiums: Insights from Team USA’s Wheelchair Basketball Athletes.”

Or sit in on a live taping of “Good Game with Sarah Spain”
with legendary guests Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. And the lineup is stacked, featuring leaders from the Lightning Foundation, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Sun, and players galore.

Party on the Plaza presented by Buick

Name a more fitting place to party than Water Street Tampa? Head to Cotanchobee Park for pre-game like no other, complete with food and drinks, tons of merch, games, and photo ops.

The schedule also includes performances by Uptown Groove, Point 6, Ya-Ya Diamond & The Dream Catchers, Girls Rock St. Pete, The Fulcos, and The Eigth Note Brass Band.

Super Saturday Practice presented by Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Watch the squads warm up for the final contests at this open practice. Beyond the drills, fans can expect lots of activities and promotions from NCAA Corporate Partners.

Super Saturday Concert presented by AT&T

The Windy City may have Lollapalooza, but we’ve got the Super Saturday concert headlined by superstar rapper GloRilla. “Yeah Glo!”

Doors — or should we say barricades — open at Curtis Hixon Park at 6 p.m. DJ ReRe plays first at 6:45 p.m., and GloRilla takes the stage at 8 p.m. Pro Tip: AT&T customers and one guest can score entry to a Fast Lane, as it’s sure to be crowded.

Women’s Final Four Bounce presented by Buick

This one’s for the up-and-coming ballers. Kids 18 and younger will start off from Curtis Hixon Park in a parade, dribbling their way to Tourney Town. Parents are encouraged to tag along. But hurry: The first 3,000 kids get a free basketball and t-shirt. Register online.
