Get your swole on at the Ybor City gym.

Hey, all. City editor Bailey here.

I have the ultimate pro tip for all my exercise enthusiasts (and folks looking to get back into fitness). ClassPass, a monthly wellness subscription app is the move for testing out new Cross Fit gyms, yoga studios, and even salons across Tampa Bay.

Here’s how it works: First, the app offers a free two-week trial to all new users, with 28 credits that can be used to book classes at any studio that uses the app. The trick is, classes all require a different amount of credits — the same class at the same studio can take more credits at popular times.

Once the fortnight is over (or you’ve run out of credits) choose from an 8-credit plan ($19 a month), 13-credit plan ($29 a month), 28-credit plan ($59 a month), 38-credit plan ($79 a month), or 80-credit plan ($159 a month) to keep your new routine going. Pro tip: you can add class packs on if you run out before the month is over.

Here’s a few local spots that offer classes through the app:

  • CAMP Tampa
Like to switch up your workout? This South Tampa studio offers spin, yoga, sculpt, circuit, lift, and pretty much every fitness class you might be feelin’. Plus, there’s an outdoor vegetable garden on site, showers, lockers, and a summer camp theme that screams fun.
  • Sweat St. Pete

SWEATRs are loyal to this training facility — so much so that it’s ranked fifth in ClassPass’s national rankings. Located in North Kenwood, the open-air studio offers teamwork-focused HIIT, shred, lift, sculpt, and (of course) sweat classes.

  • Sukhalife Yoga Studio
Lean into a little relaxation (and a necessary stretch) with a slow flow, yin, or restore yoga practice at this Central Avenue studio. The woman-owned business also offers prenatal classes and special workshops.
  • Cigar City CrossFit
Head over to Ybor City for a thorough workout and maybe to make some friends. The open-air warehouse hosts 60-minute classes and even strongman classes.

And best of all, if you don’t use up all of your credits on workin’ on your fitness, you can use them to cover beauty services around town.
