Florida is definitely no stranger to hurricane seasonbut Ian has especially kept us on our toes. While we aren’t sure exactly what the full extent of the storm’s impact will be overall (follow the current track here), there’s one thing we can be certain of — Tampa Bay will be looking to lend a hand to those affected.

Here are just a few ways you can get involved. ⤵️

United Way Suncoast has created the United Way Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund, which will help meet immediate needs, as well as support long-term recovery. You can also donate to the South Sarasota County Relief Fund.

OneBlood is encouraging all elgible donors to give blood to help those impacted by the hurricane.

Feeding Tampa Bay is providing aid for food assistance through the hurricane. Make a donation to help those experiencing food insecurity during the storm.

St. Pete Free Clinic provides health care, food, recovery housing, and education to the area year round. Consider making a donation to make a difference for Pinellas County.

Metropolitan Ministries offers comprehensive services for those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Explore its donation options or consider becoming a volunteer.

The Crisis Center of Tampa offers emotional + crisis support to the community year-round. Make a donation online.
