September is upon us and it’s time to get those calendars filled up for the fall season.

The temps are sure to drop — a bit — and there’s a ton of live music shows on the docket, craft beer to be had + lots of Gulf Coast funky fun to fill up those weeknights and weekends.

  • Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble | Thurs., Nov. 24 | 7 a.m. | 401 Channelside Dr. | $30 | There’s a perfect Turkey Trot option for every family at this event — with a 1-mile fun run, 5K, and 8K races. 🦃

Development
  • Everyone’s favorite airport, Tampa International, is moving forward with plans for its fifth terminal: Airside D. The $787.4 million project will help the airport manage an additional 13 million air travelers with 16 new gates, an outdoor terrace, concessions, customs, and more. Construction is expected to finish in 2027. ✈️ (That’s So Tampa)
  • St. Petersburg’s West Central Avenue is in the midst of extensive change. New residential buildings are going up, office buildings are being renovated, and most notably, the SunRunner starts its “Beach to Burg” service next month. The neighborhood is quickly gaining its own identity, and developers are eager to scoop up plots. (Tampa Bay Business Journal)

Get ready for Museum Day

Free Museum Day is this Saturday, Sept. 17, but don’t show up to your fave Tampa Bay cultural centers without a ticket. Here’s the skinny on which local museums + institutions are participating; all you need to do is text the group chat and book those tickets.

Make sure to book individual tickets or check to see if reservations are required at each of the museums on their respective sites (we’ve linked them all below ) and bring I.D.
