Indoor fun
- The Florida Aquarium has spacious viewing areas, automatic doors, and super-wide elevators. If you need a scooter or a wheelchair, you can rent one for $15 at the front desk.
- We recommend art enthusiasts check out the Morean Arts Center (720 Central Ave., St. Petersburg) You can explore breathtaking art for just $3 with an Access Card. Plus, caretakers are admitted free of charge.
Jungle gymin’
- The Lesley “Les” Miller Jr. All People’s Community Park and Life Center (17302 Commerce Park Blvd., Tampa) has an adaptive swing set, rock-climbing structures, tons of shade, and synthetic turf.
Getting around
- The Pirate Water Taxi has a wheelchair-accessible + seating zone. Check out its docking points.
- Alternatively, hop on Tampa’s TECO Streetcar. Each station has a wheelchair ramp and can take you pretty much anywhere around Tampa.
